Book Your Contact Lens Exam in Oklahoma Today with Lifetime Eyecare Solutions
At Lifetime Eyecare Solutions, we’re happy to talk to patients about the possibility of wearing contacts. Contacts are extremely practical. They can be worn when playing sports and while swimming, and they provide 360-degree vision correction. Glasses, on the other hand, may get in the way during sports and only improve your vision so long as you look through the lenses.
Many people choose contact lenses, and we’re here to help if you want to try them.
How Can an Optometrist in Oklahoma City Help?
At Lifetime Eyecare Solutions, we can help you learn if contact lenses are right for you. We’ll start with an eye and vision exam that takes a look at your sight and the health of your eyes. If you want to wear contact lenses, then we will perform a contact lens exam. We still go through the steps to make sure your eyes are healthy and to identify any abnormalities or problems with your vision.
The contact lens exam has additional steps, though, since we use a machine that measures the dimensions of your eyes to calculate the right size and shape for your contact lenses. This machine lets us know if your contacts will fit correctly on the surface of your eye. We’ll give you a trial pair of contacts to use after your appointment, and we’ll set up a follow-up exam, so that our optometrist can check in with you to see if you have adjusted well to the contacts. If not, we’re happy to talk to you about making adjustments to the contacts, either through a change in prescription or the kind of contacts you’re prescribed.
